Design Concept
Antakya's interior is a celebration of modern Mediterranean-Turkish casual dining — blending the rustic architectural heritage of Hatay with contemporary fast-casual design. ThinknBox designed a space anchored by natural stone feature walls, herringbone chevron wood paneling, and Turkish geometric encaustic floor tiles in cream, grey, and terracotta tones. The warm red palette flows through Tolix-style bistro chairs, glazed subway-tile counter fronts, and dimensional 3D logo signage. Industrial black dome pendants hang from exposed timber ceiling beams, while terracotta ribbed wall tiles and cane-panel banquette seating add artisan texture. Every detail — from the cheeky "It's döner not shawarma" surfboard sign to the döner rotisseries visible through the open kitchen — grounds the space in authentic Turkish street-food culture, elevated for a modern audience.
